Hi
I'm thinking about taking a day trip to the Glasshouse mountains with public transport.
Would I be able to access the park from the railway station?
What are the interesting spots in Glasshouse mountains and what can I do there? Thanks very much.

Nope , sorry mate but it's a long walk from the nearest station & unless it was part of a Sunshine Coast Day Tour I think you'll be out of luck....

I know there used to be climbing treks but Parks & Wildlife have restrictions on at least 2 of the mountains & a girl fell off the other only yesterday so I wouldn't be surprised if that one will be off limits in the near future as well..

Unless you were going to climb one there is little else to do there anyway...I would suggest you try to get to Charlie Morelands Park at Maleny instead ...there is a very nice Tropical Rain Forest walk there & a perfect view across the valley of the Glasshouse Mountains...

Enjoy..

to get to the actual national park it would probably take you around an hour walking
